FOX estrena en primicia la séptima temporada de “Bones” el próximo 16 de diciembre, a las 22.20 horas, su horario habitual del prime time de los viernes, tan sólo unas semanas después de su estreno en Estados unidos.
La gran novedad de esta temporada es el embarazo de la doctora Temperance “Huesos” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) que se dio a conocer justo al final de la sexta temporada cuando Brennan sorprendió a Booth (David Boreanaz) contándole que estaba embarazada y que él es el padre.
En la nueva temporada, veremos cómo Booth y Brennan lidian con los asuntos relacionados con su próxima paternidad mientras continúan investigando una serie de crímenes espantosos y desconcertantes. Esta pareja tendrá que luchar también con un peligroso enemigo, experto en tecnología, que usa sus incomparables habilidades para retarles para que resuelvan una serie de asesinatos diseñados especialmente para humillarlos. Además, la llegada del bebé de Brennan y Booth será uno de los puntos fuertes de esta temporada ya que el parto tendrá lugar en medio de una investigación en un sitio poco preparado para un parto.
La séptima temporada contará además con estrellas invitadas como Morgan Fairchild (“Falcon Crest”, “Search for tomorrow”, “Friends”) que interpretará a una ejecutiva agresiva que se encuentra sin querer en medio de un asesinato y Ben Savage (“Yo y el mundo”) que dará vida a a Hugh Burnside, un antiguo empleado de una tienda que se encuentra en medio de una investigación en el 4º episodio de la temporada.
La serie utiliza la intriga de los casos al servicio de una trama en la que el gancho principal es la química entre los dos protagonistas. La acción transcurre principalmente en el Instituto Jefferson de Washington DC, presentado como una catedral de la investigación forense. En el Jefferson también aparecen el resto de personajes claves de la serie, como los compañeros de Brenan, entre los que destacan Ángela (Michaela Conlin), que en la cuarta temporada descubrió su homosexualidad; el doctor Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), eterno enamorado de Angela; la jefa del servicio, la doctora Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor); y el joven genio prodigio, el doctor Lance Sweets (John Francis Dalay).
